Puss in Boots (also known as "Puss in Boots: The Story of an Ogre Killer," "Puss in Boots: The Movie," "Puss in Boots 3D," and "Puss in Boots in 3D") is an upcoming 2011 spin-off film which serves as a midquel to Shrek and a prequel to Shrek 2. It will be released on November 4, 2011.
Antonio Banderas will reprise his role as Puss in Boots. He is joined by new characters voiced by Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis, Billy Bob Thornton, Amy Sedaris, Zeus Mendoza, and Walt Dohrn (who plays the narrator).
Way before Puss (Antonio Banderas) ever met Shrek, Donkey, and the others, our suave and furry feline hero goes on a swashbuckling ride as he teams with the street-savvy Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek), who serves as his love interest, and mastermind Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) to steal the famed goose that lays the Golden Eggs.
